Mindfulness and Well-Being at Work Conference

Greater Good Science Center, in collaboration with Mindful and 1440 Multiversity, is hosting an upcoming conference: Mindfulness and Well-Being at Work.

The two-day conference, held on November 13 and 14, 2015 in Berkeley, will feature a variety of speakers who will discuss practical strategies for how your work experience and environment can become more mindful and enjoyable. The first day will cover the benefits of mindfulness, how to overcome challenges in the workplace, and give attendees specific skills to help them in their workplace. The second day will consist of hands-on and in-depth workshops.

The speakers will include a variety of professionals and mindfulness teachers, including world-renowned neuroscientist Richie Davidson, author and psychologist Daniel Goleman, and others (see the full list). To get an idea of what the conference is about you can read a piece by Daniel Goleman on why a relaxed brain is a productive brain.
