Trul Khor Tibetan Yoga
About This Event
Alejandro Chaoul shares details about the workshop and how he teaches the Tibetan yoga practice of Trul Khor, or magical movements.
Explore the transformative practices of Tibetan Yoga to cultivate greater awareness and release energetic and physical blocks in your body, energy, and mind.
“Tibetan Yoga is a wonderful support for all spiritual practitioners, not just for those with an interest in physical yogas,” says Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche.
During this retreat, you are introduced to:
- The Nine Breathings, a foundational practice for purifying and balancing the subtle body through your inner channels.
- The five elemental Tsa Lung yogic movements of the Mother Tantra, connecting breath, movement, and the subtle body.
- Five Trul Khor movements from the Dzogchen Instructions of A, associated with the five chakras, five elements, and five types of breath that also appear in Tibetan medicine.
- Meditation integrated with breath and movement, offering a direct way to experience and embody the elemental energies within the subtle body of channels and chakras.
Through these Tsa Lung and Trul Khor practices, you explore a deeper connection with the chakras and discover how the qualities of the five elements—earth, water, fire, wind, and space—can become lived, embodied experiences.
For more than 30 years, Alejandro Chaoul has brought Tibetan yogic practices into hospitals, universities, mental health centers, and communities. His research has explored how these ancient practices can help reduce stress and burnout while supporting quality of life and overall well-being. In this workshop, he shares accessible practices you can bring into your own life to cultivate greater balance, vitality, and well-being.
This workshop is open to both beginners and advanced students.
