Pilgrimage to Silence: A Nature-Based Retreat for Rest & Renewal
About This Event
A silent retreat on the theme of pilgrimage
Held in nature, this silent retreat explores pilgrimage as a path to rest, reflection, and renewal. It blends Plum Village-style mindfulness with Quaker practice, and includes sitting and gently moving meditation, mindful walking and eating, Dharma talks, and small-group sharing.

Teachers

About Hollyhock
On the southern shore of Cortes Island in the Salish Sea, Hollyhock has welcomed retreatants since 1982. Stays include garden-to-table meals, morning movement classes, naturalist walks, and time to wander forest trails, paddle sheltered coves, or soak in ocean-view hot tubs. Hollyhock is one of the picks in Mindful’s 2027 Retreat Guide.
