Pilgrimage Across Mongolia: Meditation and Mother Earth
About This Event
Fourteen days of meditation under Mongolia’s open skies
Mongolia’s vast steppes and endless horizons make a powerful setting for practice. This small-group journey travels through rarely visited parts of Central Asia, pairing daily meditation with time in the landscape and with the nomadic families whose lives are so closely tied to it.
June 1–14, 2027. The group meets in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. From $7,900 USD per person (early-bird rate until December 3, 2026; regular price $8,350).
What the journey includes
Along the way, you’ll explore Mongolia’s historic monasteries and ruins, sleep in traditional ger camps on the steppe (with the option of horseback rides), and visit Hustai National Park, home to a population of wild horses. Each day includes meditation practice and an evening group discussion. The trip is all-inclusive, with vegetarian meals, accommodation, and transportation. Groups are capped at 21 people.
The journey is led by Venerable Ngawang Ludrup, a meditation instructor, translator, and founder of a meditation center in South Korea.
Who it’s for
Travelers drawn to wide-open nature and a slower pace. Expect a moderate activity level, with two to four hours of walking or hiking most days. You’ll need a passport valid for at least six months.
