Aetna CEO Mark Bertolini and the Goldie Hawn Foundation have teamed up to launch "Mind Works" at Davos this year.

On Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., Hawn and Bertolini will participate in a panel discussion on mindfulness and talk about their new program, “Mindful Works.”

The press release refers to “Mindful Works” as a collaboration between Atena and the Goldie Hawn Foundation to “scale up” the foundation’s MindUP program. “Mindful Works” collaboration will include “a research component to the program designed to show the results and outcomes for improvements to workforce productivity, engagement and satisfaction.”

Last year, Janice Marturano of the Institute for Mindful Leadership, and author of Finding a Space to Lead lead a workshop with Mark Williams of the Mindfulness Center at Oxford University. Organizers had to turn people away when the room reached is capacity of about 70. Early morning meditation seesions at the conference attracted close to 40 people. (Read Martutrano’s post about Davos—and how one conference goer thought twice about “bolting” from the session.)
