Gina Biegel’s new mindfulness app for teens now available
Mindful.org's "On Teen Life" blogger, Gina Biegel, has a new app—called "Take a Chill"—to help teens deal with stress.
The app, designed for both iPhone and iPad, is described as containing tools to help teens manage stress and help them include mindful practices in their daily routine. The short mindful exercises and activities are intended to help teens manage daily stress—for example, when they’re studying for tests. They can also help teens develop positive attitudes and prevent negative thoughts and patterns from developing.
The app includes two audio tracks, five daily activities and a stress assessment, among other things.
Take a Chill is being offered at an introductory price of 99 cents. The price is expected to increase in March.
