Dr. Patricia (Tish) Jennings is the director of the Initiative on Contemplation and Education at the Garrison Institute and research assistant professor in Human Development and Family Studies and the Prevention Research Center at Penn State University. She led the team that developed Garrison’s Cultivating Awareness and Resilience in Education (CARE) program and is testing its effectiveness in school settings under a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
Jennings will help lead “Mindfulness & Contemplative Education,” one of the breakout sessions at the Creating a Mindful Society conference to be held September 30–October 1, 2011 in New York City.
