Bridget Hildreth has an MFA in Non-fiction Writing from Eastern Washington University's Inland Northwest Writers Program. "I live," she says, "on the wild and spectacular southern Oregon coast near Bandon, Oregon where I was raised. I am the Journalism Coordinator and writing instructor at Southwestern Oregon Community College. As a narrative place writer, convergent media artist, fledgling documentarian and community access tv producer, my passions are envisioning grace and celebrating and preserving the bounty of my region. Recently my students and I have been producing a live tv show where we gather at a community hub, local coffee shops, to dialogue with local luminaries about the sustainable future of our rural communities. This production is SEMINAR (Society, Education, Media, Interactivity, News, Arts, and Region)."
