While shrugging off the idea that anyone should imitate him, Jon Kabat-Zinn humbly admits “I barely know how to live my life”. He also says “mindfulness can become as commonsensical as eating breakfast,” and discusses teaching mindfulness in China and his goals as a writer.
“My books are meant to be a tool,” he says. “[They are] aimed at training the reader into an experience of themselves, so that mindfulness becomes just as commonsensical as breakfast.”
“It’s not one size fits all. The curriculum is life itself.”
