Compassion Art Project Launches Exhibition

A few weeks ago we reported on the Appleton Compassion Project, and we thought we’d pass on the news that the art exhibition opened this week at the Trout Museum.

For those who can’t make it to the museum there’s a viritual tour of the exhibition available on the project website.

The project involves over 10,000 students in grades K-12. Each student was given a 6-inch-by-6-inch art panel to draw or paint their idea of compassion.

According to this news story, one 5-year-old student who drew a picture of the Dalai Lama actually got his piece signed by his muse.
