Stan Goldberg is the author of the award-winning book, Lessons for the Living: Stories of Forgiveness, Gratitude and Courage at the End of Life. New World Library will be publishing his seventh book Leaning Into Sharp Points: Practical Guidance and Nurturing Support for Caregivers in March, 2012. 

Goldberg is a professor emeritus of communicative disorders at San Francisco State University. He has taught, provided therapy, researched, and published in the areas of learning, change, loss, and end of life issues for more than 25 years. He has also been a bedside hospice volunteer for several years.
