To Chew or Eschew
What is food addiction, and how can it be treated? Mindful eating is being discussed as a helpful approach to treatment.
An article by dietician Jennifer Sygo explains that there are two categories of approaches to treating food addiction—those that help you avoid triggers and those that help you develop a healthy relationship with your food. Sygo compares one approach from each camp i.e. avoiding "trigger foods" and mindful eating.
